Kelly Airpark is a private residential community located between Denver and
Colorado Springs, just West of Elbert, Colorado. We are outside
of both Denver Class B and Colorado Springs Class C airspace. Our primary runway
17/35 is paved and we have a gravel/turf crosswind runway 8/26.
Runway 8 is downhill and is not recommended for landing. The
unattended radio frequency is 123.05. Our on-field AWOS (Monument
Hill) telephone number is 303-648-3479 and frequency 134.375. Click here for the Kelly page on
AirNav.
WARNING! Do not use Google Maps to obtain directions within Kelly Airpark. Google has mis-identified our taxiways as streets and using directions from Google could place you in direct conflict with aircraft. Google has been notified of this situation.
The Black Forest Soaring
Society is also located on the airpark.
INTENSIVE GLIDER ACTIVITY at Kelly Airpark. All
traffic state intentions on CTAF 123.05 if radio equipped. All lot owners are required to brief invitees and guests of KAP
operating procedures.
Notice to Airmen - An FAA sanctioned Aerobatic Practice Box is located 3 Statute miles due east of KAP. Operations are 7 days a week during daylight hours. Additional information can be found here.
Note: THIS IS A PRIVATE AIRPARK. YOU MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM A
PROPERTY OWNER AND OBTAIN A PROCEDURES BRIEFING TO LAND. We suggest you
visit the Contacts page and touch bases with anyone there for current field
status and to arrange a tour (we love to show off our airpark).
